Plagiarism Policy

LAJUMEN: Lajagoe Journal of Management and Business is committed to maintaining academic integrity and originality in all published works. Every submitted manuscript is subject to plagiarism screening by the Editorial Team using Turnitin.

The journal applies the following principles:

  1. Plagiarism and self-plagiarism are strictly prohibited. Manuscripts must demonstrate originality and proper attribution of sources.
  2. Authors are responsible for the originality of their manuscripts. Any ideas, statements, data, words, or materials derived from other works must be appropriately cited and, where necessary, directly quoted.
  3. Duplicate or simultaneous submission is not permitted. Authors should not submit substantially similar manuscripts describing the same research to more than one journal or primary publication at the same time. Such practices are considered unethical publication behavior.
  4. Proper acknowledgment of previous work is required. Authors must provide appropriate citations to publications, theories, concepts, data, and other sources that have contributed significantly to the development of the reported research.

Plagiarism Screening Process

The Editorial Team conducts plagiarism screening through the following procedures:

  1. Initial editorial checking: Submitted manuscripts are reviewed manually by the Editorial Team, including examination of citations, quotations, references, and potential similarities with previously published materials.
  2. Similarity checking using Turnitin: Manuscripts are subsequently screened using Turnitin to identify potential text similarities and plagiarism.
  3. Editorial decision: Manuscripts indicating a similarity level exceeding 25% may be rejected by the Editorial Team. The Editorial Board may also consider the nature and source of the similarities when determining the appropriate editorial action.

The plagiarism screening process is conducted to ensure that all articles published in LAJUMEN meet accepted standards of academic integrity and responsible scholarly publishing.
